Book Festival Bash

The Edinburgh International Book Festival has completed another highly successful season. With positive feedback coming in thick and fast from authors, publishers and audiences alike, this has been the most succesful year ever for the festival. EIBF recognised the contribution of the sizeable event team in organising and operating some 680 shows over the 17 day run with an end-of-festival party at The Caves.

Following the success of our Technical Management contract with EIBF this summer, PROScenia were asked to provide additional lighting to help create the party mood - which was achieved with a selection of moving lights, projected Book Festival logo and a wall wash in Book Festival colours. The texture of the 18th Century stonework in the venue made the wall wash particularly dramatic and helped create a relaxed, classy and highly enjoyable party atmosphere for the night. PROScenia's Andrew Coulton certainly got in the mood and down on the dancefloor - his feet barely stopped moving all night. It's unclear whether this was down to the lighting or whether the rythm has finally got him!
